Patty Baker, a 13-year resident of Cherokee County resides with her husband Nicholas and two children, Taylor age 9 and Alexa age 6. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Dominican College. She has a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Psychology from Adelphi University in New York.
Patty is currently serving in the Cherokee County Clerk of Courts. Since moving to Cherokee County, Patty has taken an active Leadership role in her Community. She has served as the chairperson of the Woodstock City Environmental Committee. A graduate of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2003, Patty was chosen by her classmates to serve on the steering committee. She is a member of the Cherokee County Republican Party and Republican Women’s Club. She has been a member of the Woodstock Woman’s society and has been very active in fundraising activities around the county, including the American Cancer Society and the American Red Cross. Also, as an active member of Optimist International, Patty has helped raise funds for children of Cherokee County in need.
